If a student decides not to remain on campus because all of the student’s classes have been made online, does the student lose the Hope or any other scholarships as if the student took a semester off from college?

If a student remains enrolled in all online classes, his or her scholarship(s) will continue just as for in-person courses. If a student will not be enrolled in any classes, the student can request a leave of absence from the scholarship(s) by submitting a Scholarship Appeal Form—a letter of rationale explaining why a leave of absence is required—and official documentation supporting the claim. Depending on the circumstances, the leave of absence could be approved or denied.
