Chattanooga, Tennessee is becoming America’s first quantum computing and networking hub through a partnership between EPB and IonQ. EPB, which launched the EPB Quantum Network in 2022, will add an IonQ Forte Enterprise quantum computer and form the EPB Quantum Center, set to open in early 2026. IonQ will open a Chattanooga office, providing computing, networking and application-development support and training.
