University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Chancellor Lori Mann Bruce has named Dr. Mina Sartipi interim vice chancellor for research, effective January 2026. Sartipi, currently the executive director of the UTC Research Institute and founding director of the Center for Urban Informatics and Progress, brings deep institutional experience and a strong record of interdisciplinary, partnership-driven research.
