Chattanooga observed a moment of honor as city flags flew at half-staff Friday to commemorate the life of civil rights leader and former Tennessee Representative Dr. Tommie F. Brown. Brown, who championed equity, education, community advocacy and historic voting rights reforms in Chattanooga, passed away earlier this week.
