UTC has been awarded a $2.4 million competitive grant from HRSA’s Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) program to expand the mental and behavioral health workforce serving rural communities over the next four years. The funding supports stipends for counseling, social work, and psychology students undertaking rural internships, supervisor training, and development of a digital learning library with simulation modules.
