On April 9, 2025, UT will release a new secure file transfer service along with a new URL. On the same date, we will retire the current UT Vault service located at vault.utk.edu. Upon signing into the new UT Vault 2.0, you will notice a new interface with improved features and supportability. Keep in mind that the vault is a secure file transfer solution and not designed for secure email messaging. More information on secure email messaging options will be posted soon.
Prepare for the upgrade by backing up shared files
The current UT Vault service will be retired on April 9, 2025, and existing files will auto-delete. Before the release date, review and back up any active documents that you are currently sharing.
