Please take a minute to notice the new item displayed on the reference desk. We have set up a Hot Topic display holder that will be managed along with the New Books collection. The current feature is a new dvd and booklet on the timely subject of bullying. I’ll choose new items to be highlighted in this display as new items arrive or subject interest fades. Please remember the location of these display items will still indicate New Books or AV collection (we are not setting up a separate location) so everyone will want to be aware of the item on display in case a patron is searching for it. The hope is to draw patron interest to these topical items. I’ll coordinate with Will G. at reference to let me know if the display needs a new item and I will look to Mike to alert me to any new books he thinks should be featured. If you notice a new book or dvd that you feel merits the Hot Topic holder, please bring it to my attention.
