We have shut down both elevators for the day. LBR3 is making a loud clicking sound when called and the other car is “bouncing” as a result of LBR3 not being able to respond. At least that’s our assumption. Whatever the cause, I’m not comfortable with patrons using the elevators as they are and do not want to have someone stuck in one today. We are blocking off the elevators on all floors and have posted out of order signs. Rather than take risks with one badly functioning elevator and possibly doing further damage to the other I’ve elected to block use to both.
