The MocsCard machine is out of order. The magnetic strip of a patron’s card ripped when it was scanned. Part of the strip must be stuck on the reader because the machine only displays a “remove card” message, despite attempts to reset the machine. Steve in the MocsCard office has been made aware of the problem.
