We’ve had a number of students at the Reference Desk today who couldn’t log into the computers and trying to change their password didn’t work. Here are some things to keep in mind that might help:
1. When logging into the computers, passwords are case sensitive (even though that is not true for logging into MyMocsNet, etc.)
2. When trying to change a password, the answers to challenge questions are also case sensitive.
3. The campus IT folks are in the UC computer lab and available to help students with such problems. They can actually fix the password situation for a student. They are available in the lab until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday this week.
