The right-side first floor printer is jamming badly on every other print job. Turning it off doesn’t help because print jobs are still routing to it when it is off. I have put in a request for service with ITD–still waiting on that and will update if I see anyone. In consultation with Nicole, we are still waiting before cutting off printing on the first floor as we have a student worker who is helping to keep the printers going.
UPDATE: The right-side printer is now off and all print jobs should be routing to the left-side printer. IT has a third-party technician coming out tomorrow (unknown ETA) to service the printer.
There is a large stack of unclaimed print jobs at the Ref Desk. Students may be in looking for those documents later in the day.
