Update: Troy emailed to say that it was, indeed, a corrupt print job causing the error. He cleared the queue and the printer is back up and running.
The right side printer on the first floor of the library is displaying an error message (HP error 49.4C06). The error prompts the user to turn the printer off and on again, but the error never resolves and the print jobs don’t print. When I start the printer without the network cable plugged in, the printer starts normally and doesn’t display the error. I assume this means it’s not a hardware issue, but a problem with the network connection or a corrupt document. I have turned the printer off and, as of this writing, jobs appear to be rolling over to the left printer without a problem. A footprints request has been filed and Troy has been emailed directly as well.
