1. The email form links on the scanning stations on the 2nd floor aren’t working. Students are being advised to save their scanning jobs to a USB drive. If a student doesn’t have a USB drive, he or she can check out a drive at circ. Library IT is on it.
2. A patron tried to buy a guest card at the Mocscard machine. The machine took his dollar, but didn’t vend a card (it displayed the message “temporarily unavailable”). It appears that the machine is still working for those who are depositing money on their mocscards and who need to check their balance. To be safe, a sign has been posted that guest cards are unavailable. Michelle and Steve from the mocscard office have been notified.
Tested emails from both scanning stations this morning and they worked fine. Likely either a temporary network issue or user error.
The card machine has been fixed.
