There was a question about updating already-published blog posts, when it comes to helping folks to realize when broken things are fixed.
Now that we are on the campus WordPress server, displaying a revision date would require a theme revision or plugin. They are less inclined to do that for this limited use case. My personal preference would be that we move toward just writing new posts, rather than editing old ones (and linking for context, if need be).
But – if need be, you can manually edit the date of publication for your blog post, to reflect a revision time/date. Under Publish, click on Edit under Published on: then alter the date, click OK then click Update.
