Happy Halloween!
Today is the big day for the Open House and Costume Contest! Thanks to everyone for signing up to help via the Google doc; it’s going to be a great day!
At 12:00, Wesley, Priscilla, Steven, Michael and I will meet on the 1st floor in front of the Checkout Desk. We’ll move the furniture in the general seating and display area over to the window area to make room for the Open House tables. Then we will bring down the portable tables from the 2nd floor storage room and set them up for the department tables and Aramark. If anyone else is available to help, or has student assistants available to help at this time, please come down to the 1st floor at noon.
Department Tables should be available by 12:30 for setup. That’s when we’ll also bring down buttons/candy/signs/etc. from Chantelle’s office.
Also at 12:00, Richard and Natalie will set up the costume contest area outside. This will involve grabbing a table from the second floor storage room, grabbing the tent from Ground floor storage, and the decorations/entry forms/etc. from Chantelle’s office.
The festivities will wrap up at 3:00pm Natalie, Nicole, Brian, Jeff Castellaw (Student Worker), Michael and I will meet in the Open House area on the 1st floor to help with the takedown of the Open House (storing portable tables in 2nd floor storage, moving 1st floor furniture back to its original location, etc.) Richard, Evie and Virginia should meet outside at the tent to help with takedown of the tent and decorations, as well as bringing the table inside.
