There have been slight changes to the reference surveys at the Check Out desk and Commons desk:
- Some language changes to make surveys consistent with each other (e.g. both surveys now say ‘General library info/policies’)
And here are the desk-specific changes:
- New link for Info Commons Survey: https://utk.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3Xk70CIMFVfKKCV
– We’ve removed the options for Checking In and Checking out Headphone/Markers;
– We’ve changed “Research Appointment” to “Referral to another service point”. This option is inclusive of referring patrons to research appointments, writing center appointments, and studio consultations.

– We’ve added text to the images in the first question; this is for easier deciphering on the analytics side
– We’ve added an option for Email, since many reference questions are coming in and being answered via email. This can be used to collect reference help provided via email from either the Check Out desk or from your personal workstation. (This option already exists for the Info Commons Survey)
