“On Sunday, October 11, beginning at 2:00 a.m. ET, your ILLiad server will be unavailable for 2 to 3 hours. During the downtime, OCLC systems staff will migrate the virtual web server, which houses your ILLiad server, to a new OCLC data center architecture. This new configuration will provide OCLC hosting staff with enhanced networking hardware and disaster recovery abilities.
This scheduled event will affect both access to patron web pages and ILLiad client component usage. There are no software configuration changes required by your staff to any ILLiad client component during this activity.
When the network and systems staff have completed their work, your ILLiad server will be brought back online, verified, and monitored for any irregularities. This entire process is expected to be completed by 5:00 a.m. ET.”
