I saw a call for donations on the Alabama SLIS listserv and I thought I’d share it. J.B. Pennington High School in Blountsville, Alabama had a fire last week and lost all of its books. I’ve included a screenshot below with more details (click the image to expand it).
I’m headed to Tuscaloosa on Thursday afternoon for an LSA board meeting, so I’ll be at SLIS and can bring any donations with me. If any of you have any YA fiction or non-fiction that you’d be willing to donate, please bring it to me by Thursday morning and I’ll take it with me to Alabama SLIS.
