Did a bit more playing around in GET.
Upon first log-in, users are prompted to confirm email address and phone numbers. They don’t specify on this screen that the phone number can be a cell phone, for the purposes of text alerts tied to money being added to your account.
For myself, I noticed that while the sum carried over, it wiped out any stored debit/credit card information from ManageMyID. We don’t know any student workers who actively add money to their cards, to see if this was consistent.
