Occasionally with a PDF, you will get an odd error message when trying to print (usually code reporting an error…either a Postscript error, or some other type). This is caused by a problem inside the PDF code itself…when Acrobat tries to tell the printer what to put on the pages, the printer doesn’t understand and fails.
This can be fixed, sometimes, by changing what Acrobat tells the printer. You can do that by going to the “Advanced” tab on the Print menu, and checking the box “Print as Image.” This makes Acrobat send the information to the printer as if it were printing a big picture…which sometimes fixes the problem!
