A patron reported being momentarily stuck in the elevator tonight. After testing the elevator and getting no response when called from any floor, I decided to put it out of order. Trash cans have been placed in front of the entrance to Lib3 on all floors and out of order signs posted. The other side appears to be working fine and responds when called. There have been no reports of any difficulty with that side so we are leaving it for patrons to use.
I have reported the problem to Facilities.
