I have alerted Facilities at 9:02 AM this morning that we continue to have issues with LBR2. Laird reported to me a patron was stuck briefly and rang the alarm but then was able to open the door and escape.

Steve from facilities looked at the elevators. Was instructed by Warren Simpson to open LBR2 back up. So we’ll see what happens…

Facilities called again at 2:50 PM after a student reported being trapped for approximately 5 minutes before getting the door open. The elevator is out of service until facilities and/or the contractor checks it again.

Facilities came and opened it up again after “checking it out”.
