The library outreach committee is sponsoring a library haiku contest now through April 30th. Here are the details:
Patrons will fill out a haiku sheet located at the 1st floor service desks and print station and must turn them in to the box at the Reference Desk. An outreach committee member will grab the ballots daily, capture the information, and tack up sheets on the 1st floor corkboard. Patrons may opt out of displaying their poem.
We’ll judge the poems at the end of the month and give prizes (Barnes & Noble gift cards) to our favorite three.
If you have any questions, please Anne, Lane, or Bo. And don’t be afraid to tack up your own — it’ll help make the board look good and is a guaranteed stress-reliever (no foolin’).
Thanks so much for your help!
