Hi Everyone,
I requested that OCLC set all UTC Library faculty and staff up with a username and password that provides them with access to OCLC’s WMS Help Site. Looks like they did this as folks began receiving e-mails with a username and password yesterday afternoon.
The id/pw that were provided to you should allow you to login to the OCLC WMS User Support Center here:
https://www.oclc.org/support/worldshare-management-services/home
From this page, you can sign up for various WMS trainings, view archived/recorded training sessions, and read documentation about WMS. This will come in handy for all at some point.
The same login will also allow some of you access to OCLC’s Service Configuration System. This would have been stated in the e-mail that was sent to you. If your e-mail mentioned access to Service Configuration, you can go to it here:
https://www.worldcat.org/config/SignIn.do
From this page, you will be able to see configurations for areas of WorldCat Local, WMS, or WorldCat KnowledgeBase that you will be working in. Again, not everyone will have access to the Service Configuration.
If you have specific questions about your login to the help area, please let me know.
