I unplugged the reference desk phone and plugged it back in. It seems to work now.
For future reference, if the corded phone stops working you can unplug it and the cordless phone will work in its place.

Thanks, Lane. I think the phone had mechanics syndrome. I had unplugged both of the phones and plugged them back in to no avail. Anna did say that a lot of our lines in the building are dropping. She has had several complaints in the last few days. So, don’t know if that played into anything. Again, thanks. It was really weird.
