You all may have noticed that the students in the Collections Services Department have been busy shifting around the AV collection.
In anticipation of the move to the new library–whenever that may be–we have shifted the AV Collection and Feature Films, Foreign Films, and TV Series are no longer stuck in the middle of documentaries.
Their new home is at the front of the AV section. The next step in this process is the reclassification of the videos to the new format: Feature Films A, Foreign Films A, TV Series A. That will take a bit of time to complete. For now, there will be a mixture of old and new call numbers.
Just remember, everything is alphabetical. So, despite a call number, look at the title and go hunting there! We hope to transition to the new system as quickly as we can.
I will be sticking some new signs on the first two ranges to indicate the new location of Feature Films.
