After several alerts and comments from patrons I decided to close off and post the left side of the public elevator (LIB#3?) as out of order. I had noticed a faint burning electrical smell when I left Thursday night that may have been the same source but it was not very strong. The burning scent on 3rd is now so strong you don’t even have to enter the elevator to smell it according to Dave. So to be better safe that sorry I am posting it on all 3 floors and we’ll try to keep patrons out of it. I’ll alert Lisa so she can send a work order tomorrow.
