I have contacted Five Star Vending regarding two issues with the snack vending machine: 1-machine will not accept coins and 2-selections are not falling properly and customers are shaking the machine in an attempt to get their selection.
FYI…If a patron approaches you saying they lost money in any of the vending machines the procedure for them to get reimbursed for their money is to go to the Bursar’s office. I realize this is inconvenient but I/we have no way to reimburse their lost money and Bursar’s tracks lost money to deduct from their billing.
I have been informed the machine has been serviced and should work properly. It was however out of change and until change is used for purchases it will not be able to give change.
