Past Fall Meetings
Join us at for the Fall 2019 MidSouth WPA Works-in-Progress Event on Friday, September 20th at University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.
This event will bring together writing program/writing center administrators, faculty, and students from the MidSouth region (Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Georgia, and Alabama). Participants will share drafts of and receive feedback on current scholarly and/or administrative projects; work with others in related interest groups; and have dedicated time for writing. The environment will be supportive, collaborative, and low-stakes.
Two sessions are planned: a Friday morning plenary, in which participants briefly share their work with the entire group; a Friday afternoon working session, during which participants can collaborate with others in shared areas of scholarly interest. Participants will also enjoy a Friday evening social event, to be held off-campus.
Registration is free of charge and includes Friday coffee, lunch, and an off-campus happy hour event.
Please watch this space and the WPA Midsouth website (www.mswpa.org) for additional details.
