We accept undergraduate writing in fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry, and we encourage students from all backgrounds and intersections to submit their work! Study Abroad during Spring Break in western Ukraine with the History Department
Professor John C. Swanson (UTC, Department of History) will lead a Study Tour to western Ukraine during spring break from March 11 to March 20, 2022. Students will need to register for and participate in HIST3930 The Holocaust by Bullets: Where the Shoah Started (Spring 2022). No Prerequisites. Scholarships are available and you do NOT need to be a history major to take this course. Participate in one of our upcoming informational meetings to learn more:
- Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m. in Brock Hall 408
- Friday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. on Zoom (password: history)

The Perch Radio Station is Coming Back!
The Perch, UTC’s student radio station, is gearing up to launch next semester and WE NEED YOUR HELP! What are your listening habits? Any good podcasts you’ve been into lately, or albums you’ve had on repeat? When do you listen – in the morning on your way to class or during a quick lunch in the UC? Stop by our booth in the center of campus on Wednesday, October 27th from 10 am to 2 pm to answer questions like these and win some free Perch merch.
