The following students received Office for URaCE Conference Registration Support awards to present their research projects at national and regional conferences.
Margaret Blevins, Human Resource Management major, will present the project Adulting the Outdoor Industry: A state of the industry report from Chattanooga at the 2025 Southeast Recreation Research Conference on March 23, 2025, in Young Harris, GA. Congratulations to Margaret and their faculty mentor Dr. Andrew Bailey.
Kyle Rains, Economics, will present the project Sexism in Syntax: Language and Its Relationship with Female Leadership at the 2025 Southeast Recreation Research Conference on March 21, 2025, in Kansas City, MS. Congratulations to Kyle and their faculty mentor Dr. Claudia Kramer.
Apryl Johnson, Business Management, will present the project Exploring the Impact of Marital Status and Number of Children on Mental Health Among Spanish-Speaking Adults living in the U.S. During and After the COVID-19 Pandemic at the 2025 Society for Personality and Social Psychology Conference on February 20, 2025, in Denver, CO.
