UTC undergraduate researcher Hailey Henderson recently completed a 10-week REU experience with the Sensor Development and Implementation Pipeline (SDIP) REU at Clarkson University under the mentorship of Md Abdul Baset Sarker, Dr. Kevin Fite, and Dr. Masudul Imtiaz.
Hailey’s Reflections: “My work involved redesigning SolidWorks models, refining joint articulation, standardizing sensor housings, and gaining hands-on experience with a bio gel printer for the first time. Along the way, I had the privilege of connecting with an inspiring community of mentors, peers, and researchers who made this experience truly unforgettable. I’m deeply grateful to the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the SDIP REU program for making this opportunity possible and to everyone who helped make this summer both professionally enriching and personally meaningful.”
