UTC Students Present at Southeastern Fisheries Council Meeting!

The Office for URaCE is proud to provide conference registration support for three UTC undergraduates who presented their research at the November 2025 Southeastern Fishes Council meeting in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Olivia Daugherty earned the Bob and Fran Cashner Best Undergraduate Poster Presentation award for her Honors thesis, “Sound Versus Silence: Investigating Fish Foraging Behavior in Relation to Cicada Sex Differences.” Tyler Davis was recognized with a Boschung Student Travel Award, and Levi Wright also shared their research at the conference.
