Greetings Campus Community! I would like to make you aware of some construction activities that will impact pedestrian traffic during the spring semester.
Oak & Palmetto:
The sidewalk at the corner of Oak and Palmetto (in front of the Patten House) is closed for repairs to a retaining wall. We expect the work to continue through the spring semester.
Mable & 4th Street:
The sidewalk along the west side of Mable Street in front of the McKenzie Arena is closed due to the construction of the new Football Athletic Training Facility. The sidewalk will remain closed through the spring semester of 2024.
Oak at Cardiac Hill:
Although pedestrian traffic isn’t impacted there is repair work being performed to underground utilities at the top of Cardiac Hill on Oak Street. We expect the repairs to continue until spring break.
South Entrance at Brock Hall:
The south entrance (Chamberlain Field side) of Brock Hall is closed due to a utility project. It will remain closed until the renovation of Brock Hall is completed. All pedestrian paths around Brock Hall have been reopened.
