Over the summer the Department of Communication saw a few changes in the department’s faculty:
Dr. McGhee to FAMU
After over 20 years at UTC, Dr. Felicia McGhee left UTC and accepted a job as Associate Dean of Curriculum and Student Success at Florida A&M University. Dr. McGhee first joined UTC’s COMM department as an adjunct professor before becoming a full-time lecturer. After completing her PhD at UT Knoxville, Dr. McGhee moved to the tenure/tenure-track faculty, first as an assistant professor and then an associate professor. For the last 5 years Dr. McGhee had all served as the department head.
