Ever since I was young I have always had an interest in history. I believe that it is important to know where we came from to know where we are going. Without this knowledge, we would be left to make the same mistakes. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the History Department at UTC. All the professors are constantly pushing me to do and be better. It was a huge honor to receive this scholarship, as well as humbling. I am grateful for the professors who have supported me thus far, and I am excited to see where my last two years in the UTC History Department take me.
