Our own Dr. Annie Tracy Samuel’s contribution, “The Scholar’s Dilemma: Rational Study of Irrational Wars,” interrogates critical questions related to the intersections of academic work and personal experience. As Dr. Tracy Samuel explains:
“…I hope to shed light on what scholarship can and cannot tell us about how the pivotal events that shape our lives actually unfold.”
Dr. Tracy Samuel’s article is currently available for free. Definitely check it out, as well as the rest of the special issue, if you’d like to learn more about the current simultaneous conflicts in the Middle East as well as their impacts on our daily lives and relationships to the world around us.
