In partnership with RISE Chattanooga, the UTC Africana Studies Program and the Department of History invite you to participate in this semester’s student-led interview series with prominent community members! On Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 10:50 a.m., UTC students will ask Shane Morrow, the RISE Chattanooga Executive Director, questions about his community leadership and his vision for Chattanooga. In the previous two interviews, students met with elected officials. In this final installment, students will explore the variety of ways that people work on behalf of racial justice and equity, such as through the arts.
