Looking at summer jobs or post-graduation careers and want some help with application materials? Africana Studies is partnering with the Center for Career Development and Leadership to offer a resume, cover letter, and application workshop for our minors and other students. We will discuss strategies for translating the skills and competencies you developed in your courses at UTC into terms potential employers can understand. Bring your draft resumes, cover letters, job ads you think you might want to apply for, and questions about the job search, application and interview process. We’ll supply the expert knowledge, snacks, and Africana Studies swag!
