Maintenance Information

UTC Web Team will be performing scheduled maintenance on the UTC website (www.utc.edu) on Thursday, December 18, 2025 beginning at 5:30 p.m. All maintenance is expected to be complete by 10:00 p.m.

What to expect:
An interruption of the main public website is possible during the maintenance window. For status updates, please visit https://blog.utc.edu/itstatus.

Affected Services: 

• UTC Website: Work on Drupal services for the main public website, www.utc.edu, will begin at 5:30 p.m. During the maintenance, users may experience a brief period of intermittent website outages.
• UTC WordPress/Web Applications: Work will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the UTC WordPress and web application services (blog.utc.edu, etc). During the maintenance, users may experience brief periods of intermittent issues connecting to blog.utc.edu.
• UTC Short URLS: The go.utc.edu service may see a brief interruption before 5:30pm as we move the service to new servers. No outage is expected at this time.
