Job Position: Occupational Therapist at Austin Hatcher Foundation, previous work experiences in school-based practice and adult acute care in hospital setting
Austin Hatcher Foundation: The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer (AHF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to helping families impacted by childhood cancer at no cost, for the entire family’s entire lifetime. AHF provides comprehensive, coordinated care through evidence-based therapies, counseling, family programs, grief groups, educational resources and more, fostering resilience and hope for families. AHF’s focus not only assists families coping in the present, but helps them thrive in the future following a childhood cancer diagnosis.
Informal or Formal Projects: Working on developing programming to support families with pediatric cancer such as a monthly workout group. Presenting multiple posters on how to support pediatric cancer in the community setting at American Occupational Therapy Association National Conference.
Fun Fact: Anna loves to ski, travel, and try new foods!
