Our students participated in many community events this semester. One of them was conducted at Austin Hatcher Foundation with three of our MPH Students (Hannah Jeffery, Mikayla King, and Wendy Jiang) who conducted nutritional education to the children present at the camp. The children learned about healthy eating, painted canvases using fruits and veggies and even made a healthy peanut butter ball snack! Thank you for having us Austin Hatcher! We had a blast! Other activities included working with EPA on lead testing at the South Chattanooga Superfund Site, attending the Black History Festival at the East Lake Community Center, a Health Fair at Southside Community Center and many more. We look forward to continuing to work in our communities.
