Scenic Roots Interview on Latin American Dialogues Series

 

On Monday, October 12, 2020, Assistant Professor of History Eddie Brudney and Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology Emma McDonell were guests on the WUTC show “Scenic Roots,” where they discussed the Latin American Dialogues Speaker Series with Ray Bassett, the show’s host and producer.

The first session of the Latin American Dialogues Speaker Series featured Dr. Natalia Milanesio of the University of Houston, who spoke about “Sex, Democracy, and Freedom in Post-Dictatorial Argentina.”

The second session, on October 14, will be on “High-End Coffee, Maya Farmers, and the Creation of Value” and will feature Dr. Edward Fischer of Vanderbilt University.
