The Pi Mu Epsilon chapter of the Department of Mathematics hosted their annual Sudoku Showdown competition on Saturday, November 16, 2019. This is an annual competition held to benefit the Chattanooga Community Kitchen. Participants contributed item for the Community Kitchen in lieu of an entrance fee.
This year’s winner was Connor McPherson. McPherson is a current Computer Science major and Mathematics minor at UTC. First prize was a gift card to a local restaurant and was presented by Matthew McCarver, President of Pi Mu Epsilon.
