Greetings, faculty!
Please see the list of announcements, funding opportunities, and resources below.
Announcements
- Congratulations on making it to the end of semester! As you plan your summer activities, please notify ORSP as soon as possible if you will be working on a grant proposal or developing an project/agreement with a community/corporate partner. We’re here to help all summer long!
- As you develop your research projects, whether sponsored or not, it’s important to think through the potential for Intellectual Property. As University employees, you have full access to the services of the UT Research Foundation to protect, manage, and commercialize your innovations. It’s also important to consider the IP rights of students who will be involved in your research projects. Student employees are covered under UTRF policies but unpaid students participating in research as part of coursework (such as capstone projects) are not. Be sure to review the Unpaid Students infosheet on ORSP’s webpage to review the risks of incorporating unpaid students in your sponsored research projects. Contact jennifer-skjellum@utc.edu with questions.
- NSF has revamped its website, with updated pages for funding seekers and awardees. The NSF blog also has released a help guide for developing postdoctoral mentoring plans.
