- NASA has released the new ROSES omnibus for 2025. Select funding opportunity are detailed below. See the ROSES-2025 homepage for additional programs. The deadline for the Research Initiation Awards has not yet been released.
- NSF is accepting public feedback on the key technology focus areas for the Directorate for Technology, Innovation and Partnerships (TIP). This does not impact the priorities of other NSF Directorates. Full details are available in the Federal Register notice. Click here to submit a response by Monday, July 21.
- The DOE Office of Science is accepting applications for Spring 2026 Undergraduate Internships (SULI) through October 1. DOE will be hosting a webinar on August 14 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EDT. Please share this opportunity with your undergraduate students.
- Beginning October 10, anyone participating as Senior Personnel (including PIs and Co-PIs) on an NSF proposal must have completed training on research security within 12 calendar months BEFORE the proposal submission date. Options to satisfy this requirement will soon be available on ORI’s Research Security webpage. Contact eco@utc.edu with questions.
- The UTK I-Corps program will host a 5-week virtual workshop series from October 15 – November 12. The seriesis opento all UT affiliates interested in exploring the commercial potential of their ideas, research, or innovations. Register to attend here by October 8.
