- The UT System will be hosting a town hall meeting on August 12 to discuss annual disclosure requirements for the Conflicts of Interest module in DASH Research. An annual disclosure is required for all UT employees, even if you do not participate in sponsored projects. Visit the DASH Research COI SharePoint site to learn more.
- NIH has released a new policy for Supporting Fairness and Originality in NIH Research Applications. The policy, effective September 25, 2025, has two parts:
- NIH will not accept proposals that are “substantially developed by AI…or contain sections substantially developed by AI”. Proposals meeting that criteria may be subject to a research misconduct investigation.
- Individuals are limited to 6 NIH proposals as PI (or Co-PI on a multi-PI proposal) per calendar year.
