- ORSP has refined the internal proposal deadline requirements based on your feedback. Thank you! Effective October 1, 2025, fewer documents will be required 5 business days before the sponsor deadline, and the items required to be completed before submission to the sponsor have been clarified. The updated deadlines are available on ORSP’s webpage. Please reach out to your Grants Specialist for questions specific to your proposals in progress.
- If you are or anticipating working on an IRB protocol, ORI recommends submitting any IRB applications by September 30, 2025. Any submissions that are not approved by 5pm Eastern on October 21 will not be moved to DASH Research IRB and will need to be re-submitted in DASH Research IRB after go-live on November 10.
- The DASH Research Export Control Town Hall will be held on September 23 at 10am. All faculty and staff are encouraged to attend. More details, including the agenda and access link, are available on the DASH Research Export Control Community site.
- NIH has launched a new centralized resource, the NIH Highlighted Topics, for reviewing research areas of interest to NIH. More information about the purpose of the site and how to engage with it can be found here.
- The US Attorney General has issued a memo providing guidance for recipients of federal funding regarding unlawful discrimination. Please reach out to your Grants Specialist if you have questions about how this applies to your proposal.

The following programs have a limited submission requirement. If you are interested in the program, you must submit a letter of intent by the internal deadline to be eligible to participate in an internal selection competition if one is held.
