Announcements
- The UTC Research Institute has announced a call for concept papers to invest at least one new interdisciplinary focus area. Learn more and apply here. An Info Session will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 10-11am in UTC Library room 435.
- The Open Publishing Support Fund has been fully expended for this fiscal year. Congratulations to FY24 fund recipients who had papers published in fully-open source journals:

- DOE invites proposals to access its high performance computing systems at Argonne and Oak Ridge National Laboratories through its INCITE program at https://doeleadershipcomputing.org/. The current call for proposals closes June 14.
- The Integrative Organismal Systems (IOS), a division of the NSF BIO Directorate, will be hosting a virtual office hour featuring the Graduate Research Fellowship Program on July 20. While some information will be IOS-specific, the majority of information will be applicable to all disciplines. Please be sure to share this opportunity with undergraduates or new graduate students in your labs and departments. Register here to attend.
- NIH has released their Strategic Plan for Research on the Health of Women 2024 – 2028. Researchers who are interested in submitting proposals to NIH are encouraged to review the plan for intersections between their research and NIH’s priorities and interests.

Individuals are limited to participating in no more than 2 proposals per deadline. |

NASA Research Initiation Awards | August 15, 2024 | PI may not have received federal research funding as PI of a project that is related to the proposed research activities within the last five years.
