How It Works
Short URL
- Simply navigate to go.utc.edu and enter the destination URL in the “Paste URL, Shorten and Share” field.
- If you want an automatically generated short code, click “Shorten”.
- If you want to generate a concise link that begins with
go.utc.edu/, followed by a unique identifier, click “Customize Link” and enter your preferred link in the “Custom URL” field, then click on “Shorten”. For example, if you’re promoting the “Chattanooga Connect 2024” event, you might create a link like go.utc.edu/chattanooga-connect that redirects to the full event page. - To create a QR Code, first create a short url.
- Click on “Manage My Links” below the white box.
- Find your link by its short name or your UTCID under “username”.
- Click on the QR code icon under “Actions”. Your QR code will open in a separate window.
